Get to Know the 2023 INFINITI Models
Change is a constant for any automaker, but only INFINITI ushers in change with some of the most stunning products on the market to date. Coulter INFINITI is proud to welcome the latest 2023 models, each with its own distinctive personality. Read on and learn more about the upcoming INFINITI lineup and what each model has to offer.
INFINITI Q50
The departure of the elegant Q60 coupe leaves the 2023 INFINITI Q50 as the sole remaining car in the entire lineup. Nevertheless, the Q50 offers incredible styling with the performance, comfort, and amenities to match. For 2023, you’ll find the Q50 in Luxe, Sensory, and Red Sport 400 trim levels.
Changes are minimal for the upcoming model year. The Luxe trim now comes available with Saddle Brown leather appointments. Meanwhile, choosing the Sensory trim gives the Q50 an available illuminated grille badge, providing a distinctive look for passersby to admire.
The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 remains the standard engine for the Luxe and Sensory trims with 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque on tap. The Red Sport 400 benefits from a 100-horsepower boost along with a 55-pound-foot increase in torque. Sport brakes with red calipers, wider standard tires with upgraded 19-inch alloy wheels, and INFINITI’s Dynamic Digital Suspension make compelling upgrades for the performance-oriented.
INFINITI QX50
INFINITI’s compact luxury SUV offering sees plenty of changes for 2023, including a new Sport trim that adds several attractive cosmetic features. These include 20-inch alloy wheels and blacked-out exterior accents, along with semi-aniline leather upholstery and an upgraded 12-speaker Bose premium audio system. The latter is also optional on the Luxe trim level. Other Luxe trim features include a power liftgate, wireless charging pad, and heated side mirrors. Three new colors are also available: Pebble Gray, Monaco Red, and Radiant White.
A 2.0-liter VC-Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine remains the 2023 QX50’s sole engine, rated at an ample 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The end result is a smooth power delivery and, thanks in large part to its continuously variable transmission, an estimated combined fuel economy of 26 mpg.
INFINITI QX55
The QX55 is the latest addition to the INFINITI, bringing with it a sporty fastback-like shape that rarely goes unnoticed no matter where the road takes you. The sporty SUV earns a host of standard features, such as the standard ProPilot Assist adaptive cruise control system and a blind-spot warning system. You’ll also find leather seating and additional driver lumbar support on the Luxe trim, while the Essential trim adds a handy traffic sign recognition feature. Meanwhile, the top-tier Sensory trim adds adjustable lumbar support to the front passenger seat while also adding heated rear seats.
The 2023 QX55 shares the same powertrain as its QX50 brethren, all with the same horsepower and torque figures as above. However, the QX55 makes all-wheel drive a mandatory feature. The available Monaco Red contrasting interior remains a spectacular treat for those in search of something a bit out of the ordinary. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto makes the user experience easier and more precise, while the 16-speaker Bose audio system is certain to make music buffs swoon in delight.
INFINITI QX60
Don’t think of the 2023 QX60 as being “stuck in the middle.” Instead, think of it as the perfect blend of useful 3-row size with all of the athleticism and striking poise that makes this and other INFINITI models stand out from the crowd. Changes are few for the QX60 going into 2023, with the most important being a new wireless charging pad and a frameless rearview mirror across all trim levels. Eagle-eyed shoppers will also spot the Luxe trim’s gloss black lower bumper trim. This trim changes to a dark gray color when choosing the Sensory or Autograph trim levels.
In contrast to the QX50 and QX55, the 2023 QX60 uses a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 engine, rated at 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. A 9-speed automatic transmission translates engine power into forward motion. Optional AWD is certain to give the QX60 a serene ride and handling experience. Other noteworthy features include an available Smart Rear-View mirror and an available 10.8-inch head-up display.
INFINITI QX80
This year’s upcoming QX80 retains the distinction of being the largest of INFINITI’s expansive SUV fleet. The full-size luxury SUV enters 2023 with relatively few changes, but game-changing changes nonetheless for many drivers. For instance, the QX80 now comes standard with Amazon Alexa capability. Another minor yet positive change involves the lane departure warning system. This system now alerts drivers of unplanned lane drift via haptic feedback on the steering wheel.
Aside from that, the 2023 QX80 is still powered by the same powerful 5.6-liter V8 engine, which remains rated at an ample 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. Combined with an intelligent 7-speed automatic transmission and available INFINITI All-Mode 4WD, the QX80 delivers impressive performance while being capable of towing an equally impressive 8,500 pounds.
